Community Service is "Any activity or Program sponsored or co-sponsored by a VFW Post and or its Auxiliary, which serves to benefit the city, town, neighborhood, other organizations, institutions or individuals NOT AFFILIATED with the VFW or its Auxiliary as a body." Activities and or contributions that are performed or by individual members will be credited as Community Service. 

 

Community Service Projects can be: Working with Youth Groups, Chamber of Commerce, Churches, United Way, Local Fraternal Organizations, other Veterans Organizations. Anything that will build public awareness and increase active membership in the VFW.
